Mayan Princess Located right on the beach and in the heart of the town of San Pedro, on Ambergris Caye. All of San Pedro's small town charms await you at the doorstep. Watch the sunrise from your seafront veranda and finish the evening at one of the many intimate and wonderful restaurants or clubs in San Pedro. Experience the local cuisine or eat in and follow the moonlight as it illuminates the incredible Barrier Reef. The Mayan Princess has 23 studio suites complete with one queen or king bed (some that can be separated to two twin beds), sofa bed, bath, kitchenette, living room and private balcony overlooking the Caribbean. All suites have cable TV, phone, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Twin beds can be added to most rooms if available. One room has two bunk beds, perfect for a family with two children. Their on-site dive shop is Amigos del Mar, a PADI Resort Facility. They offer two-tank local trips departing at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each day. Also offered are day trips to the atolls (Lighthouse, Turneffe and the Blue Hole), certifications, snorkeling, and fishing trips. Night dives are also available upon request.
