The Palms The Palms offers gorgeous oceanfront suites, located directly on the beach and a short 5 minute walk into the heart of downtown. 12 one and two bedroom condos plus one poolside casita are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. All units (except the casita) have very large verandas where you can relax in a hammock while watching the sun glisten on the beautiful Caribbean. The pool courtyard is surrounded by lush gardens. The freshwater pool is very private and available only to guests of The Palms. Each oceanfront suite is uniquely furnished and include a living room with sofa bed, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Because of The Palms great central location virtually all of the islands shops and most of the islands finest dining are within easy walking distance. Ambergris Caye's largest supermarket is about 400 yards south. Diving is offered with Amigos del Mar, a PADI Resort Facility. They offer two-tank local trips departing at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each day. Also offered are day trips to the atolls (Lighthouse, Turneffe and the Blue Hole), certifications, snorkeling, and fishing trips. Night dives are also available upon request.
