Divi Flamingo Resort and Divi Dive Bonaire

Charming, intimate and colorful, the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and Casino mirrors the underwater rainbow of Bonaire’s marine life.

It’s just a short stroll to the center of downtown (less than 1/2 mile), so Divi’s perfect for those who want to be near the downtown restaurants and watering holes.

Divi offers a casual, fun-filled and friendly environment. There are two freshwater swimming pools, two restaurants, on-site car rental, full service activity center, convenience store, gift shop, a fully-equipped fitness center and a Business Center with computer, fax, and email services.

There are 129 rooms (89 ocean and garden view hotel rooms, and 40 studio units which have fully equipped kitchenettes). Eight of the rooms are fully handicap-accessible, with good access to the pier. All rooms are air-conditioned with private bath, air-conditioning, TV, telephone, patio or balcony.

Other than 6 of the deluxe oceanfront rooms with king beds, most units have 2 queen beds.

The grounds are colorful, lush and playful, with hammocks, outdoor chess, and several piers for boat access and lounging in the sunshine. The hotel also offers a very popular meal plan, available in your package.

And of course, there’s the diving! Divi Dive Bonaire is the professional on-site dive operator; they enjoy an excellent reputation for quality and friendly service. There are 5 dive boats, ranging from 36 to 42 feet. Two-tank trips depart at 8:30am and return about noon. Afternoon 1-tank boat dives depart at 1:00 pm, and tanks for shore dives are available 24 hours a day. Most guests are Divi opt for a package of 12 boat dives or 17 boat dives (and unlimited shore diving is of course included) – many guests don’t rent a car or truck for the entire week, due to the property’s walking-distance location to downtown.
