SAND DOLLAR CONDOMINIUMS Offering one, two and three bedroom condominium units, Sand Dollar is ideal for families or several people traveling together. All units are ocean view, with fully equipped, large kitchens. With a brand-new pier, Sand Dollar and Bonaire Dive and Adventure are ready to welcome divers and vacationers, with lots of activities available for non-divers.
The property features studio, one-, two-, and three-bedrooms condominiums - all individually owned and decorated. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, but in most of the units the living areas and kitchen are not - however, the units are constructed to take advantage of the constant sea breezes in Bonaire! An activity-filled kids program is available (free until October 2004, when a $20/day fee will begin), featuring arts and crafts, beach time, games and videos, and pool time.Parking is right in front of your unit. Outdoor grills are provided for that beach barbeque!, and the property also features two tennis courts and a swimming pool. Mango's restaurant is on site, for the times you don't want to bother with cooking.
The on-site dive operation is Bonaire Dive and Adventure, a full-service dive shop with nitrox and technical diving capabilities. They offer smaller boats, with lots of personal attention from qualified divemasters. Of ourse unlimited shore diving is included in your package, and boat diving may be added to your package as you prefer. The shore diving is excellent: the "house reef" holds the #1 position for the largest variety of species surveyed on any reef in the Caribbean. Easy drive-up tank pick-up makes shore diving all around the island a snap! In addition to all the diving amenities, Discover Bonaire - also on site - offers kayaking, mountain biking, birding, and nature tours. |
Quiet and peaceful, Sand Dollar is ideal for the more independent traveler who's interested in full condominium accommodations - and a Sand Dollar vacation is a surprisingly affordable!
All units have full kitchens, pull-out sofas, TV, and one bathroom per bedroom (the bathrooms are large). Studios are 650 square foot air-conditioned units with either a queen bed or a pull-down Murphy bed. Most studios are on the ground floor, with a private patio. One-bedrooms units are 1100 square feet, with air-conditioned bedroom and queen bed, breakfast bar and dining area, first and second floor. Two-bedroom units are 1300 square feet, with air-conditioned bedrooms - one bedroom has a king bed, the other has two twin beds (convertible to a king bed). Featuring a breakfast bar and dining area. First and second floor. 
Three bedroom units are 1425 square feet, with air-conditioned bedrooms. One king bedroom, another with a queen bed, and a third with two twins (convertible to a king bed). Kitchens are spacious, with full-size refrigerators, microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker and toaster, blender and a large assortment of cooking and serving supplies.
