KID'S CAMP at the Cobalt Coast

This is a great way to introduce your children to the underwater world. Divetech at the Cobalt Coast has a large staff of professional instructors who are well-qualified to safely educate your child. Programs are tailored to the children's age and interest. Programs can last the entire week or any number of days you wish. Parents, this is a great way to have supervised activities for your children while you go scuba diving. The Kid's Camp activities will end each day around the same time as you'll finish diving. This is individual instruction, not a group program.

Kids 6 to 7 years old - Sample itinerary for a one week trip:

Day 1 1/2 day Open water snorkel/skin diver course
Day 2 1/2 day Open water snorkel/skin diver course
Day 3 1/2 day Fish Identification/Marine Life snorkeling tour
Day 4 1/2 day Glass bottom boat ride (see the stingrays)
Day 5 1/2 day Tour of the Turtle Farm (transportation provided)

Kids 8 or more years old - Sample itinerary for a one week trip:

Day 1 1/2 day Open water snorkel/skin diver course
Day 2 1/2 day Open water snorkel/skin diver course
Day 3 1/2 day Fish Identification/Marine Life snorkeling tour
Day 4 1/2 day Bubble Makers (pool scuba tour - see description below)
Day 5 1/2 day PADI "Seals" Mission (scuba pool activities - see description below)

Price - $499 per child for a five day program or $100 per child per day. Children 12 and younger stay and eat free (on the same meal plan as parents)

BUBBLE MAKER PROGRAM
Introduce your child to the thrill of breathing underwater. Professional instructors will safely begin with learning to breath through scuba gear on the pool surface, then gradually get them acclimated to breathing underwater - just like their parents.

PADI "SEALS" MISSION
This is an action-packed, adventurous program filled with "Aqua Missions". Your kids will learn what it is like to dive with flashlights underwater or float effortlessly like an Astronaut. They'll have a great time becoming a PADI Seal Team Member!
