With a location that can’t be beat, beautiful ocean views come standard. After an amazing day of diving or other activities, return to our dive resort to relax on your own oceanfront porch, balcony, or deck. Replay your day’s experiences, soak up the sun and some vitamin D, and let the swaying of your hammock match the rhythm of the waves.
CCV offers three styles of accommodation, each with its own charm:
Bungalows: 4 Bungalows are located in two over-the water duplexes along a wooden walkway between the Clubhouse and Hawksbill Cay. They are considered by many guests to be the most private and romantic of our guest rooms. Spacious rooms and large decks insure you will rest and relax in comfort. King and double/queen bed configuration available.
Cabanas: 12 Cabanas are built directly over the water. These spacious rooms are located in three separate buildings. Enjoy the sunrise/sunset from your private ocean front deck. Cabanas are located east of the clubhouse along a wooden walkway. Queen/Double bed configuration available.
Oceanfront Accommodation: 12 Oceanfront rooms are built at the wate’’s edge, 8 upstairs and 4 down. The ocean laps gently only a few feet from your door. These rooms are located conveniently near the clubhouse and dock. Large porches and decks insure you have a front row seat to peaceful ocean views. King or queen/double bed configurations available. (Please note: rooms 22 & 23 have a limited view.)
The Mango Suite: An ocean-front, ground floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite that offers 1 Queen size bed in the front bedroom and 2 twins that can be converted to a King size bed in the back room. Perfect accommodations for a group of 4.
CoCo Casa: Air-conditioned, 2 bedrooms/2 baths Ocean Front home, the first house past the Cabanas; it is an easy walk or a quick bike ride to the resort. Perfect for families and groups of 3 or 4.
If the cabanas, bungalows, and oceanfront rooms are sold out for the dates you need, there’s a special accommodations program set up in a partnership with the privately owned Playa Miguel Beach Houses next door. While waiting for a CoCo View room to open up, we can accommodate you in an oceanfront home at Playa Miguel – and if a room onsite becomes available, we will immediately transfer your reservation over. While we can’t promise a specific room type through this arrangement, we hope it still offers an alternative you may consider if your travel dates are not flexible.
CoCo View’s reputation as the easiest place for scuba diving in Roatan isn’t luck. Their dive staff work hard at jobs they love to make your diving experiences as effortless and enjoyable as possible. Everything from “Front Yard” orientations to the personal attention you receive from your Dive Master and Boat Captain is intended to make you feel safe and comfortable in our diving paradise. The dive shop (Dockside Dive and Photo Center), compressor room, air tanks and nitrox are all conveniently located on the boat dock. Your dive equipment is also kept on the dock, stored in large lockers only steps away from your boat. Plentiful clean water rinse tanks and showers are located there, too. Simplifying the pre-dive preparation and the post dive clean-up is one of the best attributes Coco View Resort offers. Experienced “CoCo Nuts” and first time guests all agree – diving in Roatan just doesn’t get any easier than with CoCo View!
Orientation Dive Policies – every diver on their first visit to CoCo View, or if you have not been to the resort in the last 5 years, is required to go on an orientation dive in the Front Yard with a CoCo View Dive Master. This shore dive to the Prince Albert, Newman’s Wall and CoCo View Wall is for your safety and is to show you the only safe cut through the coral reef, it also will orient you so that that you will be able to find you way back from the drop dives, shore dives and night dives. This orientation dive will typically be the morning after your arrival day and will be in lieu of the morning boat dive.
For Guests Arriving On Saturday: Every Sunday morning there is a General Orientation about the resort, which includes information related to the Resort, Dive Shop, Photo Video Shop, weekly activities and an overview of CoCo View’s dive operation. We request that all guests attend this general orientation, after which, returning guests may dive that morning from the boats. If you arrive on a different day, your dive orientation will typically be conducted the next morning.
Your dive package at CoCo View Resort typically begins Sunday morning (or the morning after your arrival day) and includes 24/7 unlimited beach diving. Sites accessible from shore, day or night, include CoCo View Wall, Newman’s Wall, the wreck of the Prince Albert, and the CoCo View Channel. These sites are boat dives for other resorts on the island. Two boat trips daily include a one tank dive at a moored dive site with an optional “drop-off” dive on the route back to the resort, for up to four boat tanks daily. On a drop-off dive, your boat will heave-to, and guests who have requested a drop-off tank will exit. The boat will then continue to the marina and divers can follow the wall back to our beach on their own. During the week you may be offered some optional Roatan diving trips for an additional cost. Weather permitting, we offer two local, all-day trips to the island’s West End and East End (Port Royal). These trips include 3 tanks, with lunch provided.
